Overview
This position serves as the Strategic Impact Officer and leads the development and execution of integrated strategies and programs that strengthen the Michigan Department of Transportation’s workforce by advancing community building efforts, ensuring compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and EEO programs, and advising on community engagement frameworks that ensure comprehensive community involvement overseeing unhoused and human trafficking initiatives.
The role works closely with MDOT’s leadership team, providing subject‑matter expertise, consultation, and coaching on policies and practices across programs, projects, and operations that shape decision‑making and outcomes on communities across Michigan.
Lead development and execution of integrated strategies to strengthen the workforce and community engagement.
Qualifications- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
- Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
