This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Intelligence, located in one of the following locations:
Selfridge ANG Base, Michigan New York, New York Blaine, Washington This announcement will be open for 5 business days OR until the first 100 applications have been received, whichever happens first.

Duties

In this position, you will direct and manage subordinate supervisory staff who are, in turn, directly engaged with division personnel to provide the CBP IE and operational stakeholders with intelligence products that inform and enhance their ability to make decisions in support of CBP strategic, operational, or tactical border security operations. This position starts at a salary of $ (GS-15, Step
1) to $ (GS-15, Step 10) GS Salary:

Major Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Developing a strategic plan that establishes the future vision for the division aligned with the IE strategic vision; identifies program priorities, goals, and objectives; and outlines the overall process to achieve them. Supporting the development of component specific intelligence requirements, appropriate collection activities, and addresses intelligence gaps. Identifies the appropriate audiences, methods of delivery and evaluation for intelligence products. Serving as a senior intelligence officer and advisor to senior leaders and executives on highly- complex initiatives regarding intelligence-related security threats.

Leading people, directing and managing subordinate supervisory staff who oversee the work of those personnel who provide information, analysis and finished intelligence, operational support, and program management in service of the CBP IE.
