MI-TEaCH Analyst

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) mission is to provide opportunities, services, and programs that promote a healthy, safe, and stable environment for residents to be self-sufficient. This position serves as the MI-TEaCH Analyst and provides consultation and technical assistance for the Michigan Office of Transformation, Engagement, and Community Health (MI-TEaCH) section, under the Office of Culture, Community, Education and Leadership (CCEL).

Position evaluates MDHHS programs and services, and provides consultation to administrations and program areas regarding initiatives. Position also researches, develops and provides training to internal and external entities on health equity for all, root cause analysis, and cultural and linguistic evidence-based training.

Education Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Preferred:
Bachelors or Masters degree in public health, sociology, social work, social science, psychology, community health, training and education, or other related fields. Experience Departmental Analyst 9 - No specific type or amount is required. Departmental Analyst 10 - One year of professional experience. Departmental Analyst P11 - Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.

Preferred – A minimum of two years' work experience developing and facilitating health equity for all, root cause analysis, and cultural and linguistic appropriate services training.
