• Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy and patient care following physician’s orders, hospital policies and procedures; and departmental standards of care and standards of practice.
• Performs therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
• Evaluates patient/resident response to respiratory therapy and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Provides education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
• Performs routine maintenance and service checks on equipment.
• Maintains records, reports, and other documentation related to the work.

• 2+ years of RRT experience - REQUIRED
• Ventilator, Bipap, ICU, ER, and ABG trained therapist - REQUIRED
• ACLS - PREFERRED

• BLS
• NBRC

• State License Requirements:
  Michigan
• Active at time of Submission
• RTO needs to be submitted at the time of profile
