Key Responsibilities

As a Practice Manager you will be responsible for directing day to day administrative and supporting clinical office staff operations. The Practice Manager is responsible for achieving performance improvement, directing day to day operations in compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, and developing and implementing new programs.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Monitor all staff workflow daily to ensure all operational functions are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels to meet department and organization needs
  • Run all meetings effectively and send appropriate follow up information to all appropriate parties
  • Ensure correct forms and equipment are in use or working order
  • Work with referral sources and other health care related offices to provide exceptional care
  • Serve as a resource person regarding available health and social services and resources to the patients, caregivers, facility/referral partners, office staff and clinicians
  • Have a deep understanding of Ethizo software and answer questions within the practice about the software
  • Ensure all QA recommendations are followed for improvement of patient care or operational needs
  • Plan projects thoroughly and systematically to yield results
  • Review evaluation studies to determine continuity and effectiveness of care, community relations and image, patient satisfaction, need for additional services or methods to increase revenue
  • Document and follow up on reportable incidents and concerns related to customer service issues
  • Prepare and submit status reports of activities as required
  • Be responsible for branch facility, including but not limited to securing facility maintenance, upkeep, and repair
  • Serve as a support person when necessary, when any supporting clinical office or scheduling position is out of the office
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Organizational development and project management skills
  • Working knowledge of regulations and reimbursement within Part B Fee for Service or Physician Value Based contracting
  • Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Familiarity with Ethizo Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Hours
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay Range

$70,000 - $80,000 USD
