A Day in the Life

Computer functions:

Requisition entry

Result entry

Monitor instrument temperatures.

Maintain supplies of test reagents and other materials used for specimen testing.

Process specimens for sending out to reference laboratories.

What’s Required

High School Diploma / GED
Previous laboratory experience or medical assistant training and/or certification or satisfactory completion of laboratory introductory phlebotomy course

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
