Men's Social Support Companion needed in Bunbury region
For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.
Who we are looking for- Friendly and out-going volunteers with good communication and listening skills
- Comfortable engaging with older males and their interests
- Reliable with a genuine desire to make a difference
As a valued volunteer, this role will see you engage and make lasting connections with male residents through regular one-to‑one or small group visits. Companionship greatly enhances the quality of life of residents, who may otherwise be lonely and socially isolated. Your involvement helps encourage meaningful engagement amongst our residents, promote mental well‑being and build community bonds.

Volunteers undertake online Infection Control, NDIS Worker Orientation and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards training. All volunteers receive an orientation at site prior to commencement and further training when required.
Commitment- Regular - more than 6 months (minimum commitment of six months)
