Qualifications&
Experience:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Skilled communicator with the ability to connect with young children and collaborate with educators and families
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Not accepting SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) for this position
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapeutic services to students in grades K4
- Create individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations to help students succeed academically and socially
- Deliver services in both individual and group settings, adapting approaches to student needs
