Position Overview

Part‑time Registered Dietitian (RD) position responsible for assessing, developing, and directing the overall nutrition plan of care for each guest.

• Assess residents’ nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with guests and families in the development of nutrition care plans.
• Provide ongoing education to culinary staff on dietetics and nutrition topics.
• Stay current on emerging trends and research in dietetics.
• Ensure compliance with dietary practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing care facilities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited program (ACEND).
• Current registration status in Michigan.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide nutrition services appropriate to the age‑related needs of residents.
• Knowledge of dietary practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities.
