MEDICAL ASSISTANT
OnPoint is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support providers and clinicians by performing clinical and administrative tasks that enhance the quality of patient care. You will aid and support medication clinic and nursing functions to ensure coordinated and efficient service delivery.

PAY RANGE/BENEFIT PACKAGESalary Range: starting at $37,352.61 up to $51,546.59 annually – placement above minimum salary is based on experience.

- High school diploma or GED required
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant in Michigan required
- 1 year of experience with the target population preferred
- Experience in a public behavioral health setting preferred
- Lived experiences with mental illness, developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders, or substance use disorders valued
- Provide day-to-day support to psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses as directed by Program Manager
- Monitor and triage medication refill line for prescription requests and client communication
- Collect vital signs during clinic appointments
- Schedule appointments, including transportation for services
- At the direction of the Program Manager, complete clinic operations tasks related to monitoring and preparing to begin and end services each day
- At the direction of the Program Manager, complete primary care screenings and other functions within funding and regulatory requirements
- Document services and completion of tasks in accordance with funding, regulatory and best practice standards
- Participate in supervision and staff meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Basic iPhone knowledge
- Office 365 skills
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- One full-time position (40 hours/week)
