Caregiver, Elderly​/Senior Care, Direct Support Professional​/ Direct Care

Briarwood Assisted Living and Memory Care - Leisure Living Caregiver – $16 per hour starting & $17 after medication training! Part‑Time 1st – 6 AM‑2 PM & Part‑Time 2nd – 2 PM‑10 PM Must haves to be a Caregiver:

• Passionate about working with seniors
• Open and eager to learn!
• Interest in pursuing a career in Healthcare setting (e.g., CNA, Nursing, Geriatrics)

• You provide compassionate and competent care for residents by performing the following services:
  • Bathing, showering, and grooming/dressing assistance
  • Assist residents with dining
  • Wheelchair and walking escorts
  • Meal, activity, and medication reminder assistance
  • Answer resident call signals
• Participate in Life Enrichment activities.

This position requires standing for long periods, communicating effectively with others, sitting, standing, walking, and using hands to handle equipment. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others, a moderate noise level, and may require occasional travel to different locations.
