This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term:
Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.
This role will be supporting an NIA-funded longitudinal cohort study through conducting secondary data analysis of aging-related health outcomes in older adults. This role will eventually contribute statistical modeling support of primary data once the latest wave of data is collected for the cohort. This role will also be assisting with scientific peer-reviewed paper development in both quantitative and qualitative contributions.
Statistical modeling for NIH-funded grants across several topics in public health and health geography Contributing substantively to project(s) direction and qualitative progress Leading scientific manuscript writing and peer review process Subject area knowledge in health disparities, historical structural exposures, and epidemiology methods Proficiency in R, especially with spatial statistics, Bayesian multilevel models, and machine learning
