We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient rehab division. This role focuses on orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, injury prevention, and performance optimization. You’ll work with a diverse patient population, from post-operative orthopaedic cases to recreational and competitive athletes while helping patients return to work, sports, and daily life. - Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review and physician referrals, to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based treatment using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education.
- Treat patients across all functional levels—from sedentary individuals to recreational and competitive athletes.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, and care team members to optimize outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support clinic operations, including patient flow and quality improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or eligible for licensure in Michigan
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Strong understanding of outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to treat a wide range of ages and activity levels
- Commitment to evidence-based care and continued professional development
- CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
