• Provide individual and group counseling using evidence‑based interventions and practices.
• Assist in crisis de‑escalation, resolution, and debrief situations after incidents.
• Contribute, collaborate, and participate in child and family team meetings as requested by DSS.
• Contribute, collaborate, and participate in Day Services Team meetings.
• Maintain progress notes and therapy notes in Kaleidacare database in a timely manner.
• Complete assessments and assist in making referrals to appropriate services, as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and agency information.
• Abide by licensing board requirements.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and LSC policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of area resources for referrals as needed by youth.
• Complete the minimum requirements for continuing education each year.
• Must be able to commute to Clinton, SC.

• Education: Master’s degree in counseling, social work or related human service field.
• Licensure: Licensure preferred (LMSW, LISW, LPC, LMFT). Provisionally licensed required.
• Experience: Three years clinical experience as a therapist.

• Training or experience in treating individuals.
• Knowledge and experience in treating traumatized persons.
• Awareness and sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and experience diagnosing especially with children and adolescents.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications.
• Knowledge of drug and alcohol related issues.
• Knowledge of sex trafficking issues.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must excel in multi‑tasking and ability to communicate effectively with all groups of people.

Licensed or Certified by state in a therapy related discipline (or in the process of becoming certified or licensed).
