Mid-Michigan Recovery Services (MMRS) is looking to hire a Peer Recovery Coach who wants to make a difference!
If you are passionate about Leading with a purpose, supporting recovery and making a lasting impact, we would love you to join our team.
With MMRS, you will play a vital role in providing hope, encouragement, and peer support to individuals experiencing substance use disorders. As a Peer Recovery Coach, you will use your lived experience in recovery to inspire others, help clients navigate treatment and community resources, and support them in achieving their personal recovery goals. Working alongside case managers, clinicians, and community partners, you will empower individuals through advocacy, recovery planning, education, and connection to services that promote long-term recovery.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about giving back, values person-centered care, and is committed to helping others build meaningful lives in recovery.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a minimum of two (2) continuous years in recovery from substance use disorder.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain your CCAR Certification.
- One year of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders preferred.
