Social Work – MSW Outpatient Services Clinician (Children)
This position serves as a member of the clinical emergency services team and is responsible for providing emergency services in accordance with the Michigan Mental Health Code and Pathways policies and procedures. This includes responding in person to evaluate a crisis and determine the need for hospitalization, diversion, and/or crisis planning; coordinating voluntary and involuntary hospitalizations as appropriate; and providing follow-up services to include: face-to-face intervention, attendance at court hearings, and discharge planning.
Participation in the 24-hour, on-call emergency services rotation is required. This position may provide outpatient psychotherapy, intensive outpatient case management, or supports coordination to a variety of clientele including adults, adolescents, children and families as assigned.
Master's Degree in Social Work with State of Michigan licensure as a Masters of Social Work (LMSW) or Limited Licensed Masters of Social Work (LLMSW) required. One year of experience working with persons with mental illness, crisis intervention services preferred.
