Ultrasound Technologist Clinic (Tuscola, IL

Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Ultrasound Technologists are responsible for the performance of general X-ray procedures in addition to general Ultrasound and Vascular procedures in the clinic environment.

• Maintains supplies in assigned area.
• Obtains patient history and diagnosis to assist in radiologist in interpretation.
• Orders, acknowledges, and charges for exams.
• Performs all general radiology studies.
• Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetrics, gynecologic, breast, small parts, and vascular.
• Performs office duties such as answering the phone, scheduling patients, cleaning exam rooms, and other duties as requested.
• Performs phlebotomy as needed.
• Prepares documentation for billing and interpretation in an accurate and timely fashion in accordance to established policies and procedures.
• Prepares patients and equipment for examination.
• Sends images to PACS in accordance with established procedures.
• Utilizes ALARA radiation principles.
• Utilizes proper safety precautions as documented in department and hospital policies.

• Associate's Degree (Required)
• ARRT
  - Radiography (R) certification within 1 year of hire
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire
• Sarah Bush Lincoln, IEMA
  - Illinois Emergency Management Agency
  - State of Illinois
• ULTRASOUND VASCULAR certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Experience in X-ray and ultrasound procedures in clinic setting

Estimated Compensation Range: $33.73 - $52.28 per hour based on experience. Starting at $33.73 an hour with a $10,000 sign on bonus.
