Job Summary

We are seeking two (2) experienced, highly patient, and gentle caregivers to support an elderly client with severe dementia who requires sensitive, specialized care.

This assignment involves 10-hour shifts that require a high degree of maturity, emotional intelligence, and calm composure. You will play a vital role in ensuring the client's safety, comfort, and peace of mind while supporting their daily routine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized, gentle personal care and daily living assistance for an elderly client with severe dementia.
  • Use calm, patient communication and proven techniques to soothe high sensitivity, anxiety, or confusion.
  • Prepare customized meals based on client preferences and dietary needs.
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, peaceful environment.
  • Offer steady companionship, structured engagement, and compassionate emotional support.
  • Provide standby safety monitoring and mobility support.
  • Maintain clear communication with the office and family members regarding client updates.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience, with proven experience in severe dementia/Alzheimer's care.
  • Personal Attributes:
    Exceptionally patient, empathetic, soft-spoken, emotionally resilient, and highly mature.
  • Certifications & Health:
    • CPR and First Aid certification
    • Negative TB test result
  • Driving Credentials:
    Valid driver’s license and up-to-date automobile insurance.
  • Skills:
    Strong written and oral communication skills with a deep, genuine passion for senior care.
