Elementary High School School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Speech‑Language Pathologist license required
• Previous school‑based experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency working with elementary, middle, and high school students
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and plan interventions for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services in individual or group settings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school district and state guidelines
• Participate in school meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development as needed
