Healthcare & Medical Services Specialist

Presence, a leading digital marketing and web development agency, is seeking a Healthcare & Medical Services Specialist to support our healthcare clients in Michigan (remote). In this role, you will help healthcare organizations enhance their digital presence, improve patient engagement, and optimize online experiences. You will collaborate with designers, developers, and strategists to shape data-informed digital solutions, ensure regulatory and industry alignment, and translate clinical or operational needs into effective online journeys.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities for healthcare provider clients using Presence's software platform
• Support virtual visits by preparing charts, gathering patient information, and documenting encounters accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with patients and providers via secure messaging, phone, and video to support scheduling, follow-up, and care plan adherence
• Ensure all interactions and documentation comply with HIPAA and organizational policies on privacy and security
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to resolve care coordination issues and close care gaps
• Provide basic training and support to providers and staff on use of the Presence platform and related digital tools
• Identify workflow improvement opportunities and share feedback with internal product and support teams
• Monitor dashboards and reports to track patient status, outreach, and key performance indicators
• Escalate complex clinical or technical issues to appropriate internal teams, following defined protocols
• Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing education to stay current on clinical and technology best practices
