A Day in the Life

A high skilled Biomed with 4 years’ experience and CBET or CHTM certification. Under minimal supervision, HTM Tech III’s will provide expert-level experience in the repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment. BMET III’s are expected to be proficient in CMMS equipment data reporting and management.

What’s Required

• Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology or military trained in biomedical equipment service
• 4 years experience in healthcare biomedical equipment repair and calibration
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)-Must be from the International Certification Commission
  * If no CBET certification at time of hire, must obtain certification within 1-year of hire.
