Job Summary
The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the overall management and operation of the nursing center, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while providing high-quality care to residents. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively supervise staff, manage daily operations, and develop care plans that meet the needs of residents, including those with dementia and memory care requirements.
The Administrator will advocate for resident rights and foster a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Duties
- Oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Supervise nursing staff and support personnel to maintain high standards of care.
- Ensure facility is compliant from a federal and state level, routine inspections
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the rights of residents are upheld and promote a culture of respect and dignity.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with social workers to address the emotional and social needs of residents.
- Implement training programs for staff on best practices in care techniques.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages resident engagement and participation in activities.
Qualifications
- Current state Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
- 1-3 years of experience managing a facility.
- Proven experience in operations management within a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Knowledge of resident rights, care plans, and regulations governing nursing homes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
