The On Call Coordinator responds to after-hours call flow, coordinates staffing support, and helps ensure continuity of quality care and service for staff and persons served.
Duties And Responsibilities- Participate in the on-call rotation schedule
- Assist with filling staffing cancellations and call-offs that occur during on-call hours
- Respond to employee and operational inquiries promptly and professionally
- Log incoming calls and update Schedule Anywhere as needed
- Assess the urgency of situations and communicate with appropriate staff for follow-up or resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation of staffing and call-related activity
- Support continuity of care and operations during after-hours coverage
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of experience working with developmentally disabled or catastrophically injured individuals, including individuals with traumatic brain injuries preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to remain organized and respond effectively in fast-paced or urgent situations
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to operate computers and other office machinery
- Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to Travel 20%
