- Schedule Full-time - Day - 9:30 to 6:00 M-T, 8:00-4:30 F
Conducts medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

- Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist
- Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient
- population.
- Documents treatment interventions given.
- May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
Associate complies with the following organizational requirements:
- Attends and participates in department meetings and is accountable for all information shared.
- Completes mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established time frames.
- Completes annual employee health requirements within established time frames.
- Maintains license/certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year.
- Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position/department.
- Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self.
- Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
- Complies with established organization and department policies.
- Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.
- Serves as a Clinical Instructor for Therapy Students as requested by Departmental Leadership
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
