Beacon Health System is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide hands‑on therapy services that help patients regain mobility, improve function, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

What You'll Do- Provide physical therapy treatments under a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, balance, and overall functional independence.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and treatment techniques appropriate to each patient's needs.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Accurately document treatments and patient outcomes.
- Support the clinical education of students and assist with departmental activities as needed.
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required.
- Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
