The Company

Avanza ABA is a growing provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based in Michigan. We primarily serve children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), supporting them in developing communication, social, play, and self-care skills.

Privately owned by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Avanza ABA is committed to delivering high-quality care while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. We have been in the Lansing area servicing clients in their homes for over 3 years, while we recently opened a new treatment center on Lansing's westside to better serve our clients and community. Through this phase of growth, we are actively expanding our team with motivated individuals looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments using tools such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, and Vineland
  • Provide ongoing training, supervision, and feedback to Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians
  • Conduct routine treatment integrity checks to support consistent, high-quality implementation
  • Monitor client progress and make data-based treatment decisions
  • Collaborate with families and team members to promote meaningful progress across settings
  • Train new employees and conduct RBT Competency Assessments
  • Complete treatment reports and other clinical documentation in accordance with payer requirements
  • Utilize company software for data collection, scheduling, billing, treatment planning, and documentation
  • Maintain familiarity with insurance requirements and medical necessity criteria
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and participate in ongoing company training
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain and expand professional competency
What You Bring
  • Current BCBA certification, or nearing completion of requirements to sit for the BCBA examination
  • Commitment to providing ethical, individualized, and effective ABA services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback, training, and support to Behavior Technicians
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a clinical team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Physical ability to work in an active environment, including lifting up to 25 lbs and assisting clients as needed
  • Reliable transportation
