Job Requirements
  • At least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy or acute care pharmacy experience
  • Active Michigan pharmacist license by the start date
  • RPh credential required
  • IV certification required
  • Chemo or hazardous drug certification required
  • PharmD credential preferred
  • Experience with hospital pharmacy workflows, clinical review, and medication safety practices
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Comfort working in a high-volume community hospital setting
Responsibilities
  • Review and verify inpatient medication orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Support safe medication use across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
  • Perform clinical dosing, therapeutic drug monitoring, and pharmacokinetic support as needed
  • Prepare and oversee IV admixtures and hazardous drug handling in accordance with safety standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Assist with anticoagulation, antibiotics, renal dosing, and other high-alert medication management
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, pharmacy regulations, and documentation expectations
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital pharmacy environment
