School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Southgate, MI 48195 Position Type: Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year

We are actively seeking a dedicated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in the Southgate area for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative special education team while helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve academic success.

What You'll Do:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines

What You Bring:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Michigan SLP license (or ability to obtain)
• ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs encouraged to apply)
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
