• Start Date: 09/23/2026
• Duration: Ongoing
• Shift: 9 am - 9 pm, no on-call hours
• Hours/Week: 36 hours
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid MI Nurse Practitioner license, MI controlled substance license, DEA registration, BLS, ACLS, ATLS
• Experience: Prior emergency department experience preferred

• Hourly Rate: $1.00

• Assess and treat patients in the emergency department, including adults and children
• Perform triage, stabilization, and emergency procedures
• Make rapid clinical decisions in high-pressure situations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to deliver high-quality care
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Cover provider in triage during high volume periods
• Support the emergency team with standard ED procedures and patient management

Required:

• Valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Michigan
• State of Michigan controlled substance license
• DEA registration
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
• Experience working in an emergency department setting with both adults and children

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
