The primary responsibility of the Night Audit position is to accurately record and reconcile all resort transactions with the highest rate of accuracy, to prepare for the next business day. The role also serves as after hour guest reception for check-in and switchboard needs. This is a third shift position with work hours of midnight-8am.
Responsibilities- Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts, process no shows and close of day.
- Verify all account postings and hotel paperwork is correct and balanced, and ensure that the day has balanced.
- Run preliminary reports.
- Register arriving guests while implementing Crystal Mountain service standards.
- Dispatch Guest Service Attendants, Security, and Maintenance for after hour needs.
- Ensure guest profiles are properly noted in SMS for issues that occurred during night audit shift, and alert appropriate hotel department/s via hot sheet.
- Settle guest accounts with the ability to make good business decisions regarding discounts.
- Resolve or refer to Management all guest concerns, complaints or suggestions in continuous effort to provide superior guest service.
