Laundry Supervisor

Hurawalhi Island Resort is looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented Laundry Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the laundry department. The 90‑villa, adults‑only luxury resort is a renowned culinary hotspot offering epic culinary journeys, including the largest all‑glass underwater restaurant and 5.8 Undersea Restaurant. • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the laundry department.
• Ensure proper washing, drying, ironing, and folding of guest laundry, staff uniforms, and hotel linens.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of all laundry items.
• Monitor laundry equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Train, guide, and supervise laundry attendants to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure proper use of detergents, chemicals, and laundry equipment according to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry items, chemicals, and inventory.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing daily workloads.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a laundry operation, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Previous supervisory experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of laundry operations, equipment, and chemicals.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage a team effectively.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge will be an advantage.
• Maldivian nationality preferred.
