Inter Care is searching for a Full-Time HR Generalist to join our team! Work Schedule: Hours are typically Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department.
- Responsible for managing recruitment for open positions at Inter Care.
- Ensures Onboarding components are completed in time for New Hire Orientation.
- Enters and maintains all updated employee information in the HRIS correctly (including but not limited to position code, EEO, workers compensation codes, and standardized job titles).
- Send and review 30, 60, 90-day reviews and monitor and review employee performance processes.
- May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of of multiple areas in the department.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assists in developing, communicating, and interpreting HR policies and procedures to all employees and assigned managers with guidance from the HR Management.
- Monitor and audit internal programs, produce written reports identifying improper procedures or documentation, research issues, and make recommendations to improve policies and procedures.
- Acts as a business partner to managers and executives with proper direction from the HR Management Team.
- Cross-trained in other areas of Human Resources such as credentialing, onboarding, benefits, payroll, leave administration, student management, recruiting and special projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
