* Position Summary:
** The Career Development Administrator is responsible for coordinating and administering development programs that support employee growth, talent, and organizational workforce readiness. This position oversees apprenticeship and bargaining unit progression programs, succession planning, mentoring, career development initiatives, student and workforce development programs, and employee engagement activities. The role serves as the subject matter expert for Workday Talent and Peakon, coordinates workforce development committees and community partnerships, supports grant and compliance requirements, and develops communications and resources that enhance the employee experience while advancing organizational talent strategies.#

* Essential Functions:
*** Lead and support JALC, JTTC, and workforce development committee operations, including meeting coordination, documentation, follow-up activities, and contract-related communications supporting apprenticeship and progression programs.
* Administer registered apprenticeship programs, including Department of Labor RAPIDS compliance, apprentice onboarding, records management, curriculum administration, educational partner coordination, semester registration, GI Bill coordination, grant requirements, and related apprentice communications.
* Administer bargaining unit progression programs by tracking progression requirements, coordinating committee recommendations, supporting department training plans, processing employee status updates, and facilitating related communications.
* Administer the organization's succession planning process, including succession plan maintenance support, reporting, and employee readiness tracking.
* Administer the employee mentoring program, including program communications, resource development, progress tracking, and ongoing support for mentors and mentees.
* Provide career planning support by facilitating career development discussions, identifying development opportunities, connecting employees with organizational resources, and promoting internal career mobility.
* Lead and manage the 1st STEP student program and job shadowing initiative, including school partnerships, onboarding, mentorship coordination, scheduling, participant support, and scholarship administration.
* Lead and coordinate employee engagement initiative, including employee surveys and action plans, focused on fostering a positive workplace culture that enhances employee experience.
* Organize workforce development events and community outreach initiatives, including partnering with Talent Acquisition on career fairs for student programs, as well as organizing National Apprenticeship Week, Careers in Energy Week, and other workforce development activities.
* Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Talent and Peakon, providing functional support, troubleshooting, testing, reporting, and guidance for talent management and employee engagement processes and enhancements.
* Develop and distribute workforce development communications, presentations, training materials, announcements, promotional resources, and support workforce development grant requirements.
* Maintain SharePoint sites, tracking tools, reports, compliance documentation, and operational records while identifying opportunities to improve workforce development processes and participant experience.
* Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to workforce development, apprenticeship, employee progression, and employee engagement programs.# #
