The Human Resources & Benefits Specialist will assist with human resources matters, gathering, collecting, and maintaining records required to administer and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Assists with and executes human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, leave, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
- Oversees new staff onboardings including but not limited to set up of staff in all pertinent systems, ensuring compliance with all documentation, coordinating communication with hiring managers
- Processes benefit enrollments, including annual open enrollment. Works with benefits vendors to ensure benefits enrollments are accurate. Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, labor relations or a related field. Five or more years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits may be used in lieu of a degree. Professional human resources certification a plus.
- Two years of experience in HR and/or benefits administration.
- Experience with Enterprise ERP from Tyler Technologies and KRONOS is a plus.
- Working knowledge of FMLA laws for all states, STD, Child Support, benefit enrollment, Americans with Disabilities, and all federal and state laws
