Overview
Job Description The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through Information Technology project delivery, maintenance, and support. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB and serves as an IT Business Analyst for high priority assignments and projects supporting the Michigan Department of Corrections.

We seek an excellent and professional communicator who can establish and maintain effective relationships with all team members, manage multiple tasks, resolve issues, provide excellent customer service and teamwork.
Responsibilities- Collaborates with MDOC clients to develop requirements, analyze data in support of projects, make recommendations for process and business flows, and develop consensus on both business and system requirements.
- Serves as the primary contact to champion the needs of the client and ensure adherence to DTMB IT standards.
- Leads activities associated with Request for Proposals (RFP), estimates costs to complete projects, establishes action plans, completes impact analysis, and implements test strategies.
- Education
Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12 – Possession of a Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics. - Experience
Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11. - Alternate Education and Experience
Possession of an associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in relevant fields and two years of related experience; or two years (4,160 hours) as an IT Student Assistant may substitute for the education requirement. Alternatively, high school completion with four years of related experience may substitute for the education requirement.

The position location is Lansing, MI with a hybrid work option (two days on-site and three days remote per week).
