Who We’re Looking ForWe are seeking an experienced Enterprise Content Management Administrator with deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility remediation and strong hands‑on experience with the Sitecore Content Management Solution
. This consultant will support the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR) by ensuring that digital content and Sitecore‑managed assets fully comply with accessibility standards.
This role requires an individual who can work independently, follow established e‑Michigan web content standards, and remediate a variety of digital content types.
Local candidates only — must reside within 75 miles of Lansing, MI.
Hybrid schedule — onsite two days per week beginning day one.
Only W2 employment –
no C2C candidates will be considered.
- Perform WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility testing and remediation for MDCR’s Sitecore environment.
- PDFs
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files
- Images
- Ensure proper accessibility techniques such as:
- Structuring and tagging documents
- Adding alt text
- Establishing logical reading order
- Maintain compliance with ADA requirements and State of Michigan Look & Feel Standards.
- Support Sitecore content updates, authoring, and design tasks.
- Collaborate with MDCR leadership on prioritization and task execution.
- 3+ years of experience with ADA/WCAG remediation.
- 3+ years of experience using Sitecore Content Management Solution
. - Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines
. - Experience with ADA accessibility testing tools.
- Background in Sitecore-based web solution development and maintenance.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Codeworks discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $66.00
.
This range is subject to change based on job‑related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
