Responsibilities- Review and update published documents and web content for ADA WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
- Develop and maintain user, technical, and process documentation for application teams
- Establish documentation standards, templates, and best practices for ongoing accessibility compliance
- Collaborate with web administrators, accessibility teams, and program staff to remediate non-compliance
- Produce technical articles, manuals, reports, training materials, and online documentation
- Coordinate graphics, layouts, and document structure to ensure accessibility and clarity
- Train program staff on documentation standards and accessibility best practices
- Maintain documentation libraries, version control, and access governance
- Ensure consistent terminology, messaging, and formatting across all materials
- Provide regular status updates, track progress, and manage documentation workloads
- 4+ years of professional technical writing experience
- Demonstrated experience working with ADA WCAG 2.1 AA compliance standards
- Hands-on experience using accessibility tools (e.g., Microsoft and Adobe accessibility checkers)
- Proven ability to review existing documentation and identify compliance gaps
- Experience mentoring teams and delivering documentation standards training
- Strong understanding of documentation planning, research, and structuring techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, hybrid environments
