Hybrid/Local (Lansing ONLY) AWS Developer (15+) with Databricks, Elastic search, Kibanna, S3, Python/Scala, EHR, agile, Oracle, ETL, HL7, CMM/CMMI, DW, CI/CD, GIT, Azure Devops, database design, TDD experience
Hybrid position onsite 2 days per week REQUIRED. CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL (60mi radius from Lansing). Hiring manager is not currently interested in candidates who will need to relocate to accept an offer. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of scalable and high-performance solutions using AWS services.
- Architect and implement solutions with Databricks, Elastic Search, Kibana, S3, and Python/Scala.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines; ensure data integrity and quality.
- Contribute to Electronic Health Records (EHR) HL7 solutions and related data workflows.
- Build and optimize data warehousing solutions and related data visualization tools.
- Design both logical and physical database models; create database objects (stored procedures, functions).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops; apply Dev Ops best practices.
- Lead and provide technical guidance to other developers; participate as a technical lead on projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, write specifications, and ensure successful SDLC execution.
- 12+ years developing complex database systems.
- 8+ years Databricks.
- 8+ years Elastic Search and Kibana.
- 8+ years Python/Scala.
- 8+ years Oracle.
- 5+ years ETL and data pipeline experience.
- 5+ years AWS experience.
- 5+ years data warehousing, data visualization tools, and data integrity.
- 5+ years with CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices.
- 5+ years implementing agile development processes including test-driven development.
- Experience or knowledge in creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops is a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities in a large agile project environment.
