Summary:
SQL-focused Programmer Analyst who validates eligibility data, supports reporting, and bridges business and technical teams for DHHS data warehouse systems.
Role-specific responsibilities derived from the role summary:
- SQL-focused analysis and data validation to support eligibility data processing
- Support reporting needs and analytics for the DHHS data warehouse systems
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams
- Strong hands-on SQL: writing complex ad-hoc queries for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
- Data warehouse experience supporting reporting and analytics
- Programmer Analyst / Technical Business Analyst background (not a pure functional BA)
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical/reporting specifications
- Data validation, data quality checks, and defect analysis using SQL
- Testing experience: creating test plans, test data, executing tests, and validating results
- Experience supporting reports and dashboards built on SQL-based tools
- Ability to work directly with business users and technical teams as a liaison
- Experience differentiating defects vs. new enhancements
- Government, healthcare, Medicaid, SNAP, or eligibility systems experience
- ETL or data integration validation experience
- Training or end-user support experience
