About this RoleThe Development Operations Specialist supports the efficient, consistent, and high-quality execution of operational processes within the Instructional Product Development (iPD) department. Working closely with the Process and Operations team, including project managers, this role supports systems, workflows, documentation, and quality processes that enable teams to work effectively across tools and platforms.
The Development Operations Specialist serves as a key operational and systems support resource, helping to maintain stability, clarity, and continuity across processes while supporting ongoing improvement efforts. This position requires strong systems thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

- Support and maintain operational processes, workflows, and documentation for the Instructional Product Development department.
- Support the department by maintaining systems, tools, documentation, and reporting that enable effective project execution.
- Support internal and external quality assurance and audit processes, including documentation, scheduling, and coordination.
- Establish and maintain consistent organizational structures for shared files, templates, documentation, and resources.
- Support the administration and ongoing maintenance of departmental tools and platforms, including access, configuration, and system organization.
- Leverage AI tools, where appropriate, to enhance efficiency and creativity in daily workflows, while exercising professional judgment to ensure accuracy, ethics, and data privacy.
- Assist with data collection, validation, reporting, and dashboard maintenance to support operational visibility and decision-making.
- Coordinate recurring workflows and cross-team processes, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are met.
- Investigate and support resolution of system, workflow, or process-related issues in collaboration with internal teams.
- Create and maintain internal documentation, job aids, and process guidance to support continuity and reduce reliance on institutional knowledge.
