The role involves designing and implementing solutions to track message transmissions, supporting interface integrations, maintaining Rhapsody environments, and ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance across connected healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and resolve issues in Rhapsody Integration Engine
- Code debugging, enhancements, and production fixes
- Rhapsody maintenance, version upgrades, and testing
- Manage error/hold queues and system alerts
- Server patch support and certificate installation/renewal
- Produce latency, response, and monthly status reports
- Code migration and production deployment
- Application system maintenance and oversight
- Communicate with users and external application teams
- Memory management and storage monitoring
- JavaScript programming
- SQL
- XML
- HL7 v2.x messaging
- HL7 FHIR
- CDA standards
- Healthcare vocabularies (LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm)
- Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology
- IHE standards
- Implementation Guide-based solution development
- Experience with Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x)
- Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) – custom filters/mappers
- Message translation (JSON, XML, HL7 to proprietary formats)
- Web services (SOAP, REST, OAuth, TCP, LLP)
- TLS, mutual certificate authentication, and secure transports
