Quality Assurance Analyst

The QA Analyst ensures the delivery of high-quality, user-focused software through strategic testing, analysis, and continuous process improvement. This role designs and executes comprehensive quality strategies, contributes to automation initiatives, and helps reinforce quality best practices across cross-functional teams. It requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and strong collaboration to uphold product standards and business objectives.

Permanent, Part-Time, Non-Exempt (Overtime Eligible) position

Pay Range: $30 to $50/hr starting pay is determined by relevant experience, demonstrated skills, certifications, and geographic location, in alignment with internal compensation practices and applicable pay transparency laws.

• Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance strategies to ensure software meets functional, usability, and performance standards
• Partner with product and engineering teams to define test objectives, acceptance criteria, and risk mitigation plans
• Design, maintain, and execute automated and manual test frameworks for new and existing features
• Lead continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and metrics to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Analyze and report test results, defects, and quality metrics with clear, actionable recommendations
• Participate in planning sessions to identify quality risks early and contribute to product design decisions
• Mentor peers on testing best practices, automation, and quality standards
• Collaborate with development and technical support teams to resolve complex issues and support customer satisfaction

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including test design, execution, and automation
• Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in complex technical environments
• Strong knowledge of Word Press, including setup, administration, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights
• Experience working remotely within U.S. time zones

• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0+), user acceptance testing, or business analysis
• Familiarity with test case management tools such as Test Rail or Test Collab
