The State of Michigan (DHHS/DTMB) is looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to support enterprise-level data warehouse operations, ETL processes, security management, and system troubleshooting. This is a senior-level role requiring strong Teradata and Linux expertise.
Key Skills Required- 8+ years of Teradata experience (Top Priority)
- Experience loading data from multiple source systems
- 5+ years of Linux experience
- Strong ETL/Data Warehouse support experience
- Ability to troubleshoot batch support issues and guide development teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and within teams
- Government/State of Michigan experience
- Experience with cloud-based BI tools
- Support and maintain Data Warehouse batch frameworks and schedulers
- Manage code promotions and change management processes
- Handle Teradata and Linux security/access management
- Troubleshoot escalated Data Warehouse issues
- Support ETL workflows and data integration processes
- Monitor system performance and maintenance activities
- Conduct data quality checks, profiling, and validation
- Support disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and vendors
