Salesforce Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated Salesforce QA Engineer with experience in the healthcare insurance industry to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce platform testing, healthcare domain knowledge, and hands‑on experience validating complex integrations, workflows, and automation processes.

This role will work closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and release teams to ensure the delivery of high‑quality Salesforce solutions that support healthcare insurance operations including member enrollment, claims, provider management, customer service, and compliance initiatives.

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforce applications and integrations
• Validate Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and custom healthcare insurance workflows
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, end‑to‑end, and UAT testing
• Create and maintain automation frameworks for Salesforce applications
• Test integrations between Salesforce and external healthcare systems including claims, enrollment, billing, provider, and CRM platforms
• Validate HIPAA‑sensitive workflows and ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and define testing strategies
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or Azure Dev Ops
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Execute SOQL queries and validate backend Salesforce data integrity
• Support CI/CD testing activities within release pipelines
• Prepare test metrics, defect reports, and test execution summaries

• 5+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce platform testing
• Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem including:
  • Salesforce Health Cloud
  • Service Cloud
  • Apex integrations
  • Salesforce workflows and validation rules
• Experience testing healthcare insurance applications and business processes
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Claims processing
  • Provider management
  • Eligibility verification
  • Customer/member service workflows
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Hands‑on experience with test management and defect tracking tools
• Experience with automation tools such as:
  • Selenium
  • Playwright
  • Provar
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Salesforce certifications are highly preferred:
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce QA/Testing certifications
• Experience with healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA and PHI handling
• Experience testing ETL/data migration processes
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops
• Experience with Mule Soft or other middleware integrations
• Exposure to performance and security testing

• Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial healthcare insurance platforms
• Experience with call center/customer support applications
• Experience testing document generation and workflow automation systems
• Prior consulting or enterprise healthcare experience

Candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule out of either Farmington Hills or Okemos Michigan. There will be no relocation package offer.
