Help Desk Technician
Position: Help Desk Technician
Department: Information Technology
Status: Full Time, Non-union, 40 hours per week
Wages/Grade: Hourly range $24.21 - $27.84, Grade 5 (steps 1-5)
The Help Desk Technician serves as the first contact with users needing technical assistance via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system and assists with the installation, maintenance, and support of County-owned computers and software.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot problems and provide technical support.
- Configure PC and laptop systems.
- Maintain and repair information technology equipment.
- Perform installation of software and hardware for all Cass County Offices and Departments, the Cass County Medical Care Facility, and the Cass County Road Commission.
- Associate’s degree in computer information systems (CIS) or related field.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel between buildings.
- Drug test and background check required.
