Information Technologist IV​/S

Position Summary:

The Data and Integrations Team is responsible for the development, monitoring, and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and all Enterprise jobs that extract, transform and load data to and from the warehouse and source systems, as well as API development and platform management. This position is responsible for the duties listed below.

• Lead, coach, and manage the Data and Integrations Team.
• Oversee ongoing support of data warehousing and data integration operations in a production environment.
• Oversee data warehousing and data integration projects and initiatives on a regular basis as they arise, including large or complex projects.
• Act as a key resource on data warehousing/integration to University IT Staff.
• Help lead the Enterprise Services Department as part of the Enterprise Services Leadership Team.

Knowledge equivalent to a four‑year degree program with coursework in an Information Technology field; more than eight years of related, progressively responsible work experience in data management, data integration, data warehousing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience managing and securing sensitive or restricted data; experience implementing data warehouse initiatives and projects.
• Broad understanding of data warehousing and data integration, based on previous work experience.
• Proven ability to lead a team of IT staff in the area of data integration and data warehousing.
• Prior involvement working in a university setting with higher education related data (student, research, business support systems).
• Proven ability to lead a team supporting a production data warehouse environment while also being involved in multiple projects simultaneously.
