IT Manager | Lansing, MI

Salary Range: $96,000 - $143,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with production goals and company objectives.
• Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all data and IT assets within the manufacturing environment.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel for IT-related issues and systems.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and manage the IT budget for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure IT compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in IT management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of implementing and managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements in an industrial setting.
• Experience with infrastructure management, including network, server, and endpoint devices commonly found in manufacturing plants.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application to IT.
• Certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL) or project management (e.g., PMP).
• Experience with IoT solutions and their integration into manufacturing processes.
