Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Lansing that are seeking Help Desk Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software and hardware.
• Resolve IT issues related to production machinery and control systems.
• Document, track, and monitor help desk tickets to ensure timely resolution for manufacturing staff.
• Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access for factory systems.
• Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment on the production floor.
• Conduct basic network troubleshooting for connectivity issues affecting manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA) and their interaction with IT infrastructure.
• Experience supporting specialized manufacturing software (e.g., MES, ERP, CAD/CAM).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices relevant to operational technology (OT) networks.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing setting.
