Associate Project Manager

Location: [Hybrid / Lansing, Michigan]
Rate: $45/hour (1099)

We’re looking for an Associate Project Manager to support and drive project execution across multiple work streams. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience who can manage smaller projects independently while supporting larger initiatives led by senior team members.

• Support end to end project delivery from kickoff through completion
• Manage timelines, task tracking, and coordination across teams
• Lead smaller projects or work streams with minimal oversight
• Provide status updates, reporting, and communication to stakeholders
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate when needed
• Maintain project documentation and ensure deliverables stay on track
• Facilitate meetings, capture action items, and drive follow ups

• 2 to 5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or similar role
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay accountable to deadlines
• Experience with tools like Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or MS Project
• Basic understanding of Agile or Waterfall methodologies

• Experience in consulting, IT, or public sector environments
• Exposure to enterprise or client facing projects
• CAPM certification or working toward PMP

$45/hr 1099 Basis
