Position Summary
This position requires being onsite in Lansing, MI, 2 days per week. Applicants must be local to Michigan.
Core Responsibilities- Gather requirements, plan, analyze, design, test, implement, document, and maintain complex client-server and web-based applications.
- Provide technical support for COTS (Custom Off the Shelf) packages implemented for the department.
- Maintain customer COTS/SAAS applications, troubleshoot and manage applications using Linux OS, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Basic Scripting, Web Services, Power Apps, SharePoint, and other software as required.
- Research and learn continuously, delivering exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Application support and troubleshooting experience (application and network support).
- Strong communication skills.
- Technical support experience with Linux OS.
- Experience with technical writing and customer service.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Basic Scripting, Web Services, Power Apps, SharePoint.
